One bag, many plans

Activewear styled for everyday plans

A day with more than one destination does not always need more than one outfit. With a considered base and a few useful extras, you can pack for changing plans without carrying your whole wardrobe. Begin with the day you know, then leave a little space for the part you do not.

Choose pieces that work together

Start with a base outfit in a palette you enjoy wearing. Add a layer that sits comfortably over it and a spare piece that can change the feeling of the outfit. A simple tee, for example, can bring a studio look into the rest of your afternoon.

Try each combination before packing. If a layer only works with one very specific outfit, it may not be the most useful option for a day with several stops.

Give each essential a place

Keep the things you need quickly near the opening of your bag. Put smaller items in a pouch or a familiar pocket. A separate space for worn clothing helps keep a clean layer ready to use, while an upright bottle leaves the rest of your kit easier to organize.

Leave some room

Avoid filling every corner before you leave. A little extra space is useful for a layer you take off, a small purchase or whatever the day brings. Choose what you expect to use and leave the just-in-case collection at home.

A good everyday kit leaves room for the unexpected.

Edit after the day is done

When you unpack, notice what you used and what stayed untouched. That is useful information for the next time you go out. An everyday kit gets better through ordinary repetition: fewer unnecessary pieces, familiar places for your essentials and a little more room to move.
