Its time windows and conditions are examples and must be adapted to the seller’s actual process and applicable customer rights.

The sample return window

In this demo policy, customers may request a return within 30 days of delivery. Items should be unworn, unwashed and returned with their original tags. Trying on an item to check its fit is different from wearing it for a workout.

How to start a return

Contact the store with your order number and the items you would like to return. Wait for return instructions before sending a parcel. The live store should provide its return address through the approved return process.

Return shipping

For this sample policy, the customer pays return postage when changing their mind or choosing another size. The seller covers approved returns for incorrect or faulty items. Replace these examples with the store’s actual fees and process.

Refunds

In this demo, returned items are reviewed within 5 business days of arrival. Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method; the payment provider may require additional processing time. The live policy should state whether original delivery costs are refunded.

Exchanges and excluded items

A live store should explain how size exchanges work and identify any items excluded from change-of-mind returns, such as personalized products or hygiene-sensitive items. Do not assume an exclusion applies to faulty goods or overrides mandatory customer rights.

Incorrect or faulty items

Contact the store with the order number, a description of the issue and photographs where helpful. The seller should explain the available repair, replacement or refund process without limiting rights that apply to the purchase.

Demo content.
