Supper is a food and recipe journal theme for independent Ghost publications. Give seasonal recipes, everyday cooking and stories from your kitchen a thoughtful editorial home.

Build a curated homepage with a cover recipe, latest recipes, seasonal and weeknight collections, kitchen stories and an author introduction. Separate editorial collections help avoid repeating the same recipes. Dedicated Recipes, Kitchen journal, Our table, tag and author pages keep your publication easy to explore.

Made for reading and cooking

Publish ingredients and methods with the native Ghost editor. Readers can check off ingredients, reset their checklist, use Focus mode, jump through a table of contents and print a recipe. Add optional recipe facts with the supplied HTML snippet. Related posts encourage the next discovery.

Make it your own

20 custom settings cover editorial sections, colors, reading size and card image ratio. Choose Tomato, Olive, Saffron, Plum or your Ghost Brand accent; use light, dark or system appearance, and select heading and body fonts in Ghost Brand settings.

Built around Ghost

Native Search, Portal, memberships and Comments work with your Ghost configuration. Comments load near the discussion section or when a reader selects Load comments. Email delivery and paid memberships require your own email service and, where supported, Stripe account.

Open START-HERE.html in the complete download, then upload the inner theme ZIP to Ghost. Import demo content only if wanted, preferably on a fresh publication. Demo recipes and photographs are illustrative; review and test recipes before publishing them as your own.

Use Supper on one production Ghost publication, with private development, staging and backup copies. Customize it for your publication; redistribution or resale of the theme is not permitted. Separate publications require separate licenses.

Your purchase includes 12 months of email support and access to released updates. You can continue using your licensed copy afterwards. Any support renewal is optional, with no automatic subscription. Support covers installation guidance, documented theme features and reproducible theme defects; custom development, hosting, server administration and third-party services are outside scope.

14-day refunds

Request a full refund within 14 calendar days of purchase, including after downloading, installing or customizing the theme. You do not have to prove a defect or complete troubleshooting first. A full refund ends the license. Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.

Requirements and scope

Requires Ghost 6.x, a Ghost(Pro) plan that permits custom themes or a self-hosted Ghost installation, and administrator access for uploading the theme and routes. Hosting, domains, email and payment services are not included. Supper does not generate automatic Recipe JSON-LD, nutrition calculations, ratings, serving or unit conversions, or meal plans.
