This policy describes personal information used by Atelier Themes when you browse this website, create an account, place an order, access an authorized download or contact us. It applies whether your inquiry concerns Shopify, WordPress or the Ghost collection.

1. Information you provide

• Account information: the username, email address, name and other account details you submit. Passwords are handled by WordPress’s authentication system; do not send them to support.
• Order information: the themes, platforms, order reference, billing details, amounts, status and payment references associated with a purchase.
• Contact and support: name, email, selected platform, inquiry type, website URL, message, order reference and any additional information you choose to send.

The Contact form is stored through Fluent Forms on this WordPress website. Providing a Shopify store URL or WordPress website address does not by itself give us access to its administration or customer records. Please do not include passwords, payment-card details or unrelated personal information in a message.

2. Information from normal site operation

WordPress and WooCommerce use account and session information to keep you signed in, maintain the cart and determine which orders and downloads you can access. Download records can include the file or product, order, customer, access dates and download counts.

Server requests and form submissions can record technical details such as IP address, browser or device information, request or source URL and timestamps for operation, troubleshooting and abuse prevention. These records help us respond to requests, diagnose technical issues and maintain the service.

3. Cookies and your choices

Essential cookies support login, sessions and shopping-cart functions. Depending on your use and settings, these can include WordPress sign-in cookies and WooCommerce cart/session cookies such as woocommerce_cart_hash, woocommerce_items_in_cart and wp_woocommerce_session_*. Their use and lifetime depend on the feature and configuration.

You can control cookies through your browser. Blocking essential cookies may prevent login, checkout or cart functions from working as expected. If optional analytics, advertising or marketing tools are introduced, the relevant notice and choices must be provided for those tools; creating a customer account is not an automatic marketing subscription.

Any marketing communications require the relevant choice or other lawful basis that applies; account creation or a Ghost inquiry does not by itself authorize unrelated promotional messages.

5. Service providers, payments and external sites

We do not sell your personal information. Information needed to run the service may be handled by providers supporting hosting, email delivery, contact forms and storefront operations, and by professional advisers or authorities where required for a lawful purpose. The storefront uses WordPress and WooCommerce; the contact form uses Fluent Forms and email is handled through the configured delivery service.

Where an online payment method is offered, payment information entered with that provider is handled under its applicable terms and privacy notice. The store may receive an order status and transaction reference. Do not send full card numbers or security codes through this website’s support form or email. A payment provider is not assumed to be available unless offered at checkout.

Live demos, Shopify services, WordPress services and other external links may be operated separately and have their own privacy policies. This page does not describe their separate data practices as our own.

6. Retention and processing locations

We retain account, order, download and support information for the purposes of providing access, resolving requests, handling refunds and meeting applicable recordkeeping obligations. Retention depends on the record and the relevant obligation; deletion is not automatic merely because a support conversation ends.

Processing locations depend on the infrastructure and service providers used. International processing, where it occurs, is subject to applicable data-protection requirements. Contact us for information about locations or processing arrangements relevant to your request.

7. Access, correction and other requests

You can edit available account information in My Account. Depending on applicable law, you may also have rights to access, correct, delete, obtain a copy of, object to or restrict certain processing, or withdraw consent where that is the basis for the processing. Some information may need to be retained for legitimate recordkeeping or legal reasons.

We may need proportionate information to verify your identity. We will handle the request within any applicable legal timeframe; you may also have a right to contact the relevant data-protection authority.

8. Security and children’s information

Access to accounts and downloads is controlled through the website’s authentication and permission systems. Keep your credentials private and contact us if you suspect unauthorized access. No transmission or storage method can be guaranteed completely secure.

Our purchasing services are intended for adults and are not directed to children under 18. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can assess and address the situation.
